Abandoned Cemeteries

The Washington Township Trustee maintains six cemeteries that have been abandoned. Since the Trustee didn’t take possession of the cemeteries until they have been abandoned, many of the records have been lost or destroyed.

In 2002, a massive restoration project. Over 500 stones have been restored. Trees and debris have been removed.

Current records are available for viewing at the Trustee’s office.
