for the lawsuit, and a $59.00 filing fee.
General local rules
Only corporations are required to have an attorney, for
claims over $1500.00. If the defendant fails to appear in
court, a default judgment may be entered against the defendant.
The defendant has 10 days after the date of service to request
a Jury Trial. Either party has 60 days from the date of
the judgment to file an appeal.
